Our Fellowship Program

Thank you for your interest in our Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program!

 

At San Diego Sports Medicine, we take pride in selecting exceptional individuals as our Fellow. Our program consists of a vigorous but excited year in beautiful San Diego, working with Division I San Diego State University Athletics, the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista and in our very own Primary Care Sports Medicine Clinic. Along with these clinics, Fellows will cover high school football, work as medical director at the San Diego Hydroplane boat races, work the Rock N’ Roll Marathon, 3 day Breast Cancer walk, and other large events in San Diego.

We are looking for individuals with a strong primary care background although in the past we have accepted physicians from OMM, PM&R, ER, Peds and IM.

Our program is currently fully accredited by the AOA and was are currently working on ACGME accreditation.

Fellowship Application

We conduct fellowship interviews starting in August. We typically request applicants to set up a 1-2 week rotation with us during the time of interview.

Along with your completed application, including your most recent CV, a personal photo and recommendation letters.
